SULTRY SEXY SOPHIE MARCEAURumours from the Paparazzi said that the romantic French Man, President Jacques Chirac of France actually wanted to be the casting director for the "Da Vinci Code" when he recommended that the sexy Sophie Marceau(above)should play the leading lady with Tom Hanks. But, the role was given to Audrey Tautou. Sophie is the best friend of Claude, the pretty daughter of President Chirac.
I also heard that President Chirac was even discussing the fees to be paid Sophie. So, he was acting the role of her manager as well.
"The Da Vinci Code", based on the 2003 best-selling novel by Dan Brown, opens May 19, starring Tom Hanks and Tautou. It delves into a series of high-profile murders behind a Vatican plot to conceal the true meaning of the Holy Grail.
